November Catch up!!!!

Went to Valley of Fire the Beginning of November for some camping. We had a lot of fun. Used the Tent trailer we got from my Aunt and Uncle. It has a heater which we used at night but during the day it was perfect. Went on every hike there. I haven't been there sicne I was a little kid. Crazy.

Spooky Pumpkins!!!!!

We carved pumpkins for FHE tonight. Scary Larry helped us carve them. He was scaring me with that huge knife he was using. I thought for sure a finger would be cut off and used as one of our Halloween decorations, but we lucked out and came away with all our fingers. We had a great time. We call Zack's pumpkin- ghost eyes, Clark's- tiny eyes- and Jake's three eyes. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!!!

So, Clark turned 7 on Saturday. He is growing up way to fast. He wanted to go the the Clark County Museum for his birthday again this year. They have a really inexpensive trick or treating and spook house. I asked him who he wanted to be his one friend he can bring along. He wanted Grace to come. I wasn't surprised. That is just Clark. Doesn't care if its a boy or girl just has fun with anybody. Anyway, as you can see, Grace came along. I didn't think she would want to with all the boys but she did. As we went to pick her up, Jen came out and informed me that this would be their first date. So of course I had to take a picture of them at Olive Garden together so we can one day show them. We already have them married off. haha. We had fun at the Museum and then headed to Olive Garden to eat after that. Clark opened his presents their. Got lots of great things. Clothes, money, walkie talkies, binoculars. We then took Grace home, of course he walked her to the door, and headed home. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARK, WE LOVE YOU!!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

Last Tuesday us girls went to Mimi's cafe for lunch for my mom's birthday. We had fun, enjoyed the peace and quiet of no kids, (me) and enjoyed just being with my mom. She is a great mom and does ANYTHING for ANYBODY. She is very giving and I just wanted to tell her how much I love her. Hope you had a great birthday mom?

9 lives and six months later!!!

You know how a cat has nine lives, well I think my middle child does too. As much as I hate to admit it he ran across a busy street at Jake's soccer game last night. As I am running to catch him his life flashes before my eyes yet again. Luckily there were no cars coming yet again, but as I cried myself to sleep last night I couldn't help but think of the "what if's". My child lying dead in the street and my life changing in the blink of an eye. What to do with him is now waying on my mind. I want to never ever let him leave the house, but I know that is not an option. Will it happen again? Hopefully not. My heart can't handle another. Please don't judge, saying if she would just watch her kids maybe this wouldn't of happened. He was not 20 feet away from me and playing soccer with clark. All of the sudden he got thirsty, knowing the water was left in the car, and took off. Why did I have to park across the street? Why did I not bring the water with me? This could of all been avoided. Maybe Heavenly Father trying to teach me a lesson. Be more faithful Stephanie, read your scriptures daily, this is your trial. I don't know, all I know is that I feel every second that I want to throw up and be right by his side.

Happy Birthday Grandma & Grandpa

We celebrated Ben and LaRaine's birthdays a few weeks ago. We enjoyed a yummy dinner and some great company. Even Uncle Erik came and that's like pulling teeth. So we had fun and I made a Junior Mint chocolate cake. It was um um good.

Jake Did It!!!

It only took two games of soccer for Jake to make his first goal. Way to go Jake. They have also won both their games for far. He gets better and better every week. Keep up the good work. love ya.
