So, my sister Kess and I took the kids down to Oceanside for some fun at the beach. Some friends of ours has a timeshare there and needed someone to fill in for them. Free vacation, what the heck. We had a blast. The kids actually swan in the ocean. It was too cold for me. We ate on the Pier at Ruby's and hung out on the beach. We also went to Sea Life. It's next door to Lego Land. Had to come home early and it took us 9 hours to get home (New Year's traffic) but it was so worth it.

Christmas Eve and Day!!!

Of course we went to Del Taco Christmas Day. It's a tradition.
Kate and Jane's rocking chairs they got from my mom and dad. Story behind them is my parents bought me a rocking chair for my first birthday (that I still have by the way) so I wanted the girls to have the same thing when they were one.
Santa brought Jake a Telescope, Clark a Nintendo DS, Zack a piano, and the girls got a kitchen

We had a progressive dinner the Saturday before Christmas with my side of the family. Had fun and great food and company. thanks to mom for getting us all together. This is a picture of my parents and all the grandkids.
Sunday before Christmas we ate dinner at my parents house and then all the grandkids played out the Nativity. Jake was Joseph, Clark a Camel, Zack a donkey ( I think) and the girls were angels.

We started our December out with our ward Christmas Party. This year's theme was the Polar Express. We all wore our pj's and had great food and lots of fun. We even had a surprise visitor at the end of it all.

Thanksgiving!!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving. Great food and company. We first had lunch at our house with Larry's family. It was way yummy. Then we headed over to my parent's for dinner. My mom made a "turducken". If you havn't heard of it it is turkey,chicken and duck all together. Of course I didn't eat it but everyone said it was good. We have such wonderful families. We are all so blessed.
ps the reason why I have Jason and Chandra's family picture in here is because my mom wanted all the families on her Christmas card this year so I was trying to get some pictures. We took about 10 or so pictures and in every one of them Jason has the same goofy face. We were laughing so hard. Thanks for the great laugh Jason.

Nov. 11th was Jake's last game of the season. His team won all their games and Jake played amazing for his first time. Way to go jake!!!

November Catch up!!!!

Went to Valley of Fire the Beginning of November for some camping. We had a lot of fun. Used the Tent trailer we got from my Aunt and Uncle. It has a heater which we used at night but during the day it was perfect. Went on every hike there. I haven't been there sicne I was a little kid. Crazy.

Spooky Pumpkins!!!!!

We carved pumpkins for FHE tonight. Scary Larry helped us carve them. He was scaring me with that huge knife he was using. I thought for sure a finger would be cut off and used as one of our Halloween decorations, but we lucked out and came away with all our fingers. We had a great time. We call Zack's pumpkin- ghost eyes, Clark's- tiny eyes- and Jake's three eyes. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!!!
